The cocoa beans used in the production of our chocolate are purchased directly from farmer groups wherever possible. In this way, farmers earn a better price for their crop yields and can improve their livelihoods.

Part of the proceeds from this chocolate is invested in training programs for women in West Africa. These programs enable women to turn their entrepreneurial dreams into real businesses and become successful cocoa farmers. These farmers in turn become financially independent and can better support their families.

This chocolate enables young people to realize their entrepreneurial ambitions. They will have access to training and tools to transform start-up cocoa farms into luxury farms and become the thriving farmers of tomorrow.

For every chocolate you buy, a portion is invested in farmer training and agricultural tools to elevate farmers to experts. With their crops we can continue to offer you superior taste. And in turn, they earn a better income from cocoa cultivation.

This chocolate is 100% sustainably sourced from our supplier Callebout. A portion of their revenue goes directly to the Cocoa Horizons Foundation, which funds productivity, community and farming initiatives for cocoa farmers in Ghana and Ivory Coast. Callebaut, part of Barry Callebaut Group, is working with the Forever Chocolate movement to make sustainable chocolate the norm, facilitated by Cocoa Horizons to achieve its 2025 targets. These goals include lifting more than 500,000 cocoa farmers out of poverty, eliminating child labor from the supply chain, working with a carbon-positive and forest-positive approach and using 100% sustainable ingredients for all products.
